Lake Erie's Julia Kudla Named GLIAC Women's Lacrosse "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - Lake Erie College senior Julia Kudla (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) earned GLIAC Women's Lacrosse "Athlete of the Week" honors after the Storm went 3-0 and Kudla tallied 31 points on 12 goals, 19 assists and 14 groundballs in the opening week.

Lake Erie College senior Julia Kudla tallied 31 points on 12 goals, 19 assists and 14 groundballs as the Storm went 3-0 in the opening week. She has a perfect shooting percentage (12-of-12) so far this campaign. In the season opener on Monday against Adams State, the senior scored five goals and had four assists. Against Colorado Mesa on Wednesday, Kudla had another nine point game, scoring three goals and assisting on six others. Friday against McKendree, Kudla scored four goals and had nine assists for a 13 point game while grabbing a game-high eight groundballs.
