Findlay’s Marcus Hunt Chosen as GLIAC Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - University of Findlay senior Marcus Hunt (Port Clinton, Ohio/Port Clinton) has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week."

University of Findlay senior Marcus Hunt finished first at the Saginaw Valley State University Spring Invitational, which was hosted at the Boone Links Golf Course on March 22-23 in Florence, Ky. Hunt, who shot a 1-over par score of 145 for the top spot at the tournament as the Oilers finished seventh as a team with a two-round score of 624 (322, 302).  He fired a one-over par score of 73 in the opening round on Saturday and then shot an even-par score of 72 in the final round on Sunday for his total.
