Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University football team will return home to host the Indianapolis Greyhounds on "Kids Day" this Saturday, Oct. 29, at FSU's Top Taggart Field. Kickoff for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) game is set for 2 p.m. (EDT).

All kids in grades K-12 will be admitted free compliments of Huntington Bank and a number of special kid-friendly activities will take place in conjunction with the contest.

Children can wear their Halloween costumes and will be introduced at halftime just like the FSU players.  Additionally, several raffles will take place with proceeds going to benefit Angels of Action.  Kids will have an opportunity to win a variety of special activites such as serving as the guest trainer, guest equipment manager, an opportunity to run on the field with head coach Jeff Pierce, take part in the coin toss, serve as a water boy, be a guest coach in warmups, be interviewed on the radio and more.

Tickets for Saturday's football game are currently on sale.  They can be purchased in advance thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located in the Ewigleben Sports Complex, online at www.startickets.com or at the customer service desk in all West Michigan Meijer locations.  For more information, please visit the link below or call (231) 591-2888.

Saturday's contest will represent the last official conference matchup between the two teams as Indianapolis departs from the GLIAC to the newly-formed Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) football division next fall.

Saturday's game can be heard live on the Bulldog Sports Network and local radio station Sunny 97.3 FM with Rob Bentley providing the play-by-play action and Sandy Gholston offering color commentary.  The Meijer Bulldog Football Pregame Show airs prior to kickoff at 1:30 p.m.  (ET).  A live pay-per-view audio and video webcast will also be available at www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com.
