INDIANAPOLIS - Three teams from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) will take part in the 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Midwest Region tournament this weekend in Springfield, Mo.

The Drury Panthers, crowned champions of the Great Lakes Valley
Conference on Sunday afternoon, will host an NCAA-II men's
basketball regional for the first time in the program's
history.
The Panthers (25-4) are the top seed and host for the Midwest
Regional, which will be played March 16, 17 and 19 at the
3,100-seat O'Reilly Family Event Center on the Drury University
campus.
Drury (25-4) will be looking to win its 18th consecutive game when
the Panthers take on Findlay's Oilers (22-7) in the evening
matchup. In other games that day, No. 3 seed Bellarmine (22-7) will
face No. 6 seed Indianapolis (20-8) at noon; No. 2 seed Southern
Indiana (22-7) will play No. 7 seed Wayne State (17-9) at 2:30; and
No. 4 seed Michigan Tech (20-8) will play fifth-seed
Wisconsin-Parkside (20-8) at 8:30 p.m.
Sunday's semifinals will be played at 5 p.m. and 7:30, with
Tuesday night's title game to tip off at 7 p.m.
The Midwest Regional champion crowned on Tuesday night, March 19, will advance to the Elite Eight March 28 and 30 in Louisville, Ky., where the national quarterfinals and semifinals will be played. The two surviving teams will meet for the national title on Sunday, April 7 in Atlanta as part of the NCAA's Division I Final Four weekend.
