Lake Erie's Meredith Howe Named GLIAC Women's Lacrosse "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - Lake Erie College senior attacker Meredith Howe (Fayetteville, N.Y./Jamesville Dewilt) earned GLIAC Women's Lacrosse "Athlete of the Week" honors after recorded 17 points on 11 goals and 6 assists to lead the Storm to two wins on the week.

Lake Erie College senior Meredith Howe recorded 17 points on 11 goals and 6 assists to lead the Storm to two wins on the week.  Against the University of Bridgeport on Friday (March 22), the senior attack scored five goals, including the game-winning goal in the final three minutes of play on a free position shot, and one assist to lead the Storm to a 9-8 win. On Sunday (March 24) against Post University, Howe recorded a game-high 11 points on six goals and five assists en route to a 20-8 Lake Erie win. For the season, Howe has 37 points and 26 goals.
